Gaulle, Charles de - Signed Book "Memoires de Guerre" HM - Musicians & Bands inscribed and dated in NewFrench general and statesman (1890 1970) who led the French Resistance during WWII, later let the government (1944 46). His book "Memoires de Guerre", in 3 volumes, with volume 1 signed by him and inscribed to Maurice Noel. Noel was a French officer and painter, member of the French resistance, highly decorated for his actions. After painting a portrait for German Marshal Rommel, Noel obtained from him a special pass allowing him to paint the port and
